LS6 intake vaccum line plug Deleting my air when doing my cats, need to know what size screw anyone used to plug the vaccum line. And also any advice on how to get your hand all the way back there 
And something about a solenoid? something else I gotta remove?

Nobody? Everybody knows how much of a pain in the *** going back and forth between a hardware store spending money you don't need to is. Any info would be appreciated.

Well, I guess i'll just buy any ones that look like they might fit and take back whichever ones don't, and hope I can find the spot on whatever solenoid there is and plug that somehow too.

Lol John I can't remember, my alcoholic brain is mush. I thought everyone on the nation said to plug it with a screw but nobody knew what size?

Might be a little different on 2000 model years but when I deleted the air and EGR I just removed the solonoid completely including all pipes, vacuum lines and wires and it seems like there was a T somewhere that I just removed in the back of the intake and then I hooked up the HVAC vacuum line directly to the back of the intake. I never needed to cap anything off...

^^I think it was different for 01's and 02's because of the LSX intake.
Oh and John, everyone was saying to get the kit from Kragens but we don't have those here so i didn't know what the hell you were talking about But that sounds fine to me. As far as any solenoid there might be, screw it. I'll find something to plug it or just pull it off or something. From what I can see tho, theres nothing but the tubing, pipe, and the pump.

We've got O' Reiley, but never heard of Kragens until you told me. Other than that all we have is pep boys, vato zone, or advanced. Oh and a carquest....and a napa....but no kragens haha

How easy was it to fit on there? I might have to get my friend to do it, I have these bigass hands and can barely fit between the cowl and the intake mani haha. God I hope theres no bumps in this project. argghhh it's just bolts and **** but everyone talks about the hard time they have with fitment!!!

I swapped my LS1 intake to an LS6 at the time I removed the AIR system so it was easy, but the hard part of doing it with the intake still installed is getting your forearm far enough in behind the intake to reach the fitting, but it can be done. If you have a friend with skinny arms that would make it easier.
