Exhaust on ls1 cars

Is it just me or do most exhaust systems for our cars sound the same. The only one that really stands out to be is lm1. My buddys all have magnaflow, corsa, hooker, and kooks. They all sound very close in sound imo :/

Gmmg has a different sound to me..But yes almost all exhaust sound similar on our cars..

Yes I love GMMG. So expensive though. My friend told me my car with magnaflows sounds like a euro muscle car hahah

well, if you have cars that are built the same, i don't think no matter what you do they will sound that "different" i mean, it's all the same motor, firing away at the same rpm, doing exactly the same thing lol. i dunno, just throwin that out there??

Borla has a really crisp, loud sound. It's not that same dark tone that most cars have.

the mag on my 98 was a little different from the borla on my current car. I like the borla much better. its much meaner sounding

I want to get LT's but I am worried I will not pass emissions. They are very strick in MASS. A cat less Y prob wont even pass lol

it's Flowmaster catback. going to remove the flowmaster muffler and dual tips and run a Borla XR-1 with a single pipe out the driver side.

Try listening to true duals in person. They have a very different sound IMO. I will never go back after putting them on my car.

I'm minus the rasp heard in most sound clips and I am running Hooker Ceramic Coated Longtubes, Custom 3" Pipe, Magnaflow Bullet Catalytic Converters and a Flowmaster Muffler with Magnaflow Stainless Tips. I also passed Georgia emissions three days after having the system installed.

I don't have the equipment to post sound-clips, only pictures.
