sorry for being so repetative but this is really bothering me and i need to fix it or i'm gonna drive my car into a brick wall.

Correct me if i'm wrong: there are two rubber accessory belts on the engine, one is thicker than the other. The thinner belt is the ac accessory belt which only powers the ac. so if i were to remove this belt i could still drive my car, i just wouldn't have ac. I'm i missing something or am i correct?
