Poly motor mount?? Hello everyone:
I'm in the process of my LTs install and i want to take all the meassures to my y pipe not toch the floor pan when the motor torque and lauch.Ok any of you have suggestions with Poly(prothane) motor mount?Is better to install just the driver side or both?any of you have issues with vibrations?Thanks any help!!!

do both, vibrations wont be bad after a week when the break in. i cant tell a difference. do both sides, take out the started on the pass side and its easy, now its gonna be hard but trust me its worth every second of work

I only installed the drivers side. I did it while the headers were being done. No banging and I have some really close spots. Make sure you have a good drill. Drill press is even better.
I have a big cam now and still no banging when the motor shakes.

I installed the prothane mounts on both sides. The engine doesn't move nearly as much, and it fixed my y-pipe bang. It did cause a knock sensor code every once in a while, so you may need to think about tuning the knock sensor or desensitizing it with a resisitance circuit. I don' tknow if installing only one side will cure this or not. Good luck.
