plus when you spend the time to have it hand ported the the super will be a great intake when done. The jr victor will still be a ok intake when hand ported and needs alot of work and doenst have enough metal to make it great.
The quality of the intake that comes out greatly depends on the porter. I have some TRICK vic jr intakes that would be flow better than a ton of supers. But ya your talking about spending some serious coin on stuff like that. Much more than the simple cost of the intake itself.
From a simpleton perspective. i was told this sort of shoulder isnt very detrimental and can actually be beneficial if ported correctly.
I had a quick talk about this with a friend who ports. I may have misunderstood.
Hopefully some one more knowledgeable will chime in.
