I thought I had flowmasters... but now I'm not sure

no that is not a flowmaster. i have personally used flowmaster exhaust with good results. i do not have one on my ls1 so i do not have feed back on that setup, just clarifying that. good luck on your new exhaust

Pretty much a noob when it comes to working on cars, how hard would it be for a newb to fix? And more importantly, how much? I crawled under there a minute ago and sure enough it appears to be leaking from there... gay a fuel filter and a leaky pinion seal... hopefully that's all that's wrong.

GET THAT THING OFF OF THERE! lol I don't know what's worse; a Flowmaster or a generic Flowmaster.....probably the Flowmaster. My car had one when I got it. After I put my GMMG on I felt a noticeable difference. I had a LT1 Z28 that had a Flowmaster on it when I got it and I put a cutout on it and picked up .3 @ the track and 3mph. They sound good but IMO aren't worth replacing stock exhaust with.

Haha, yeah, it really needs to come off. I'm thinking of giong with a dumped dual set up but want to get headers on there first. Now I'm planning on buying an engagement ring so the priorities are getting a little skewed.

Do your car a favor and get it a Hooker Catback and if she doesn't like the ring get you a Hooker too!
