Default slow front o2 response Y???

ok cars back on the road after sitting for about a year and a ahalf. i had replaced both front o2's with denso rear o2's off a corvette after doing much research as to best ways to get o2's for lt. anyways i just went to get my codes checked and i show slow response for BOTH front o2's. only other codes are for rear o2's which i don't have(TSP TD). Why am i gettting the slow response codes??? also is that trhowing the car into open loop or not???? the car is getting back into daily driving i need this fixed...what to do???

the codes were p0133 and p0153
mods are intake, lt,td, short throw

EGT's are lower with headers and a free flowing exhaust. It's a common problem and tuning can delete the code.

its weird i ran across this post bc my friends car just had the same code come on in his car. We can not figure it out neither can the person that tuned his car. He did say something about the headers but if it was the headers then y does it only happen to some cars and not all?? Could the extentions for the o2's that you have to put it for lts be the problem??

Extensions can be a problem. THe O2 sensors are very sensitive to changes in resitance. Remember their out is in millivolts!! a small change will throw them WAY off.

Yea you can tune out any code but is the car still gonna run the same way it did when the codes are present? I have this code and the car started to idle funny. I dont thing by deleting the code it would make the car run better no?
