Default How to make my cutout electric?

I have a 3inch cut out..
right before my muffler its a mechanical cut out..
And Iam tired of having to get under the car to change it..
Does anyone no how i can make it electric..
I have heard of people having one and then buyin some electric pice that bolts on to the end that has a butterfly. That makes it a electric..
If any one knows where i can get this pice. Or something to make it electric..
Let me no.
thanks

thats right. they are all over the place. just buy the electric valve and use the wingnuts and put the valve in place of the cap thats on(or not on)the end of the cutout now. then run the wires to wherever you want the switch and give it power. thats all there is to it.

I have a new QTP cutout just sitting in my garage that I am more than willing to part with. Why is it sitting there - cause I already have one on the car.

I have heard several complaints about the electgric cutouts...from the different manufacturers:some about the build quality...leaking and stop working. I plan to swap my exhaust on my SS from the Loudmouth to a quiter exhaust(also less flow ) and I want the electric cutout; so I can have it quieter when I want and have it louder at other times. Just curious your guy's issues with the electric cutouts, if you have had any issues.

the Qucik time link posted, is the plate, you still need a standard cutout to operate it.

So you can just buy the plate.

Ryan.

I'm not sure if this is the size I need. I'll check with QTP and get back to you.

BB or KrazyDan,

I am currently in the market for an electric 3" plate. If SuperSlowSSLS1 does not take you up on your offer to sell - I would.

Send me an email with price.

Thanx,
