Yup 55 gpm. I must've mis read your comment. We have the same pump. Sounds easy enough. I just hope I don't have to be bothered with it. I've had enough car issues with my other cars to last a life time. Hopefully the stat sticking (my educated guess with all other things appearing fine and pump running when key turned fwd motor off) is an isolated event. I remember putting a new water pump and stat in my 93 gran prix and catching it just as the temps were hitting 240's. I shut her down, started her back up and no issues. That was about 5 yrs ago. Hope the same holds true for the vette.

Thanks for the advice MeentSS !!!

I loved my EWP on my old LT1 car. It was a CSI pump though. I can remember getting 30 mpg with that car too. It had 4.10 gears, shorty headers, 25% UDP, and a few other boltons that made for some nice mileage. I only wish someone would make an affordable version for LS engines. I think I had about $100 in the CSI pump, but they require you to reuse and gut the stock LT1 housing.

Another prop for my Meziere EWP has also been running for exactly 4 years now, and at 22,000 miles on my 383 stroker engine!

I don't know if it's needed, but I went ahead and purchased a EWP wiring kit from painless when I had it on my LT1. It came with a relay and I used a hot source that came on with the ignition for the switch in the relay. I'd go that route again in a heartbeat if they don't include something like that with a new pump.
