Default Ws6 or firehawk radiator intake part question.

What is this mod called that brings more air into the engine up from the air dam by the radiator? Does SLP make this? And is it worth it?

Is this mod worth the $170 in your opinion JRP? You seem to be one of the more knowledgeable people on these boards so I usually go with what you say. Do you have this done to your vehicle?

yes they are worth it. the gains, much like the asp wont show up on the dyno but will be more effecting at the strip and on the street. i have the slp unit but if i could go back i'd of gotten the FTRA instead. it comes down lower and sucks in more air. you can get an extension for the slp cai but its easier to get FTRA/SSRA the first time around. the FTRA come with a block off plate as well for rainy conditions as well. but i've never heard of anyone sucking in water damaging there ****.
