Unhappy Spark Plug Wires Won't Come OFF!!! HELP!

Right now I'm doing LT Headers and Poly Motor mounts and I've just got started pretty much. I'm at the Coil Pack stage. I unbolted all bolts from the coil pack and now I have to sit them down some where. Well I would, but my spark plug wires are sucked tight to the freakin spark plug. Do they have vacuum in them or something?? The real question is: HOW IN THE WORLD DO I GET THEM OFF???

take them off at the coils and get the coils out of the way so you have room to work with and then try twisting and pulling slowly at the same time on spark plug wires and breaking the seal. Had a chevy SUV in auto last week that had this problem and the retard working on it kept pulling and ripped the guts out of the wire and got a hell of an *** chewing haha.

That's more like it, way to go!

I never re-use old plug wires, they're junk. Pick up a set of stock replacements and use dielectric grease on the boot interiors, won't be as hard next time.

I had this problem when I changed my plugs. It took ALOT of effort to get that crap off. Like everyone is saying it's a combination of pulling and twisting, but when that seal does break you'll feel it come loose right away. Some times it's good to step away for a few minutes and give your hands a rest. You'll be surprised what you can get accomplished just by cooling off and NOT being pissed off. GL

+1

I was fuming trying to get these off for the first time. I hadn't changed my spark plugs ever until about a couple years ago, and those boots stay on TIGHT! It probably built up a vacuum after keeping them on for so long.

And also +1 on the dielectric grease.

And also +1 on MSD.
