Wow that is pretty expensive!

I can't wait to see full out HCI and superstroker numbers with the 90mm T-body

Matt, so can swap our stock throttle position sensor switch onto the FAST 90MM TB? Also, what is the F.A.S.T. LSX Intake Port Seal (set of 8)?

Yes.

"Also, what is the F.A.S.T. LSX Intake Port Seal (set of 8)?"

Intake manifold gaskets. Again your stock gaskets will fit if you choose to reuse them.

So the intake manifold gaskets are only $25? The GM ones are $60, is there any difference? If not, send me a set of the $25 LSX intake gaskets, Angie has my info on file.

damn. that is ridiculously stupid on that throttle body. people who have all out race cars i could understand compensating that much money but, regular heads, cam ls1 folks, i wouldn't understand. it may cost that much to produce etc but i just cant understand spending that much money on a freaking throttle body

You can buy a set of nice ported heads all decked out with big valves and springs for what this intake costs with their matched 90mm throttle body. Seems a little steep...... that intake/TB combo better make like 30-40HP at the wheels.

How long until GM gets their 90mm version out? Be nice to see a $450 intake and a $300 throtle body... performance should be the same if not better...

That's what im waiting for myself That's alot of money for a dyno graph because the cause for spending that much money will be decided when someone gets some solid track times with the LSX/90mm TB combonation. Think ET's people not dyno graphs lol

Sorry for the delay - we didn't get wrapped up on dynoing Shane's car until late.

The car is a 2000 SS w/ iron block (370 ci), *correction to my original post* Stage 2 heads, big cam, all the bolt-ons, headers w/ bullet mufflers. He swapped from an LS6 intake to the FAST...no other changes were made. Before & after runs were made back to back and the intake was changed w/ the car strapped down on the dyno. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact numbers, but the end result was a gain of 7 rwhp. I'm really curious to see if the bottleneck on these bigger motors is with the 78mm intake...possibly the 90mm intake & tb combo might be the answer for these cars? We'll be testing more as soon as we get some of the 90mm tb's in. I will post Shane's graph first thing in the morning.

very interesting that the two bigger than stock motor have gained the exact same thing, must be a restriction in the TB, and possibly the ports.
