I have an '03 Z06 coming in Saturday for testing. It just a bolt-on car with a Vararam and a Borla so it should be another interesting test.

I know there will always be doubters, but it is hard to argue against the gain across the board in torque. That gain at peak torque for both the LS1 to LSX swap and the LS6 to LSX swap was held almost across the entire torque curve. That is all very usable, unlike a lot of mods shown here that have gains at peak and loose that gain across the RPM range. I think those getting the LSX for their cars are going to be very happy! Torque is torque and a gain across the board is awesome!

Excellent work Thunder Racing! I hope to see more results soon

No they do require the LS6 pipe and plugs.

Yes they were. The only time between runs was the time to swap the intakes. That the only way for a true comparison.

Well I for one am not happy with this at all! Here it is credit cards still bleeding from Xmas and you guys post this crap. So now I'm going to have to pawn a kidney to get one of these to go with all the goodies that Paul and Angie sold me last year(which are working great BTW). Is there a modaholics anonymous? I swear crack can't be any more addicting than horsepower.

Seriously though, hats off to Thunder for the effort. It is appreciated. Hopefully you won't get all of my tax return.

So what are the results on the 375ci motor? Can a 78mm intake be bored out to 80mm or more to fit the BBK?

Way to go TR! GLad to see you jump on top of the dyno results ASAP!

I'm still curious what the intake will do on asome 450-460rwhp Hyd heads/cam setups and the 90mm on some stroker motors!
