Question Florida emissions test...

I live in Florida, and an emissions test is not required to renew our tags here. My question is, does this mean I can sneak by without having cats as long as Johnny Law doesnt peak underneath?

It's still illegal to run without cats... you can get a ticket for it.

Can you get away with it..

i also live in FL. depending on where you live you may not have emissions. i dont have them in my town so most of the vehicles i have owned have not had cats. i think it is only in the big cities ie: Tampa, Erlando, Gainsville, Jacksonville, West Palm, Miami, and Daytona. oh yeah, i have been pulled over for my vehicle being to loud but i have never had a ticket or had a cop look under the car. so you will be straight.

None in Miami. I'm pretty sure the entire State's free of inspections.

They stopped doing emmissions about 5 years ago alltogether. As has been stated....it's illegal to remove the cats...........but only if you get caught!
