I have a friend who dyno'd back to back with a stock tb and immediately swapped his p&p'd tb on and picked up 7rwhp. He took it off, lost 7rwhp, put it back on and picked it back up to see if it was a fluke. I want to do mine but I don't want to screw it up lol. I'm going Janzer I believe.

It's gonna be one of those every little bit counts kind of thing. All the free mods add up over time. Depending on how many you do. None are a substantial gain in the short run though.

I wouldnt do that one based on his customer service in the past. And being he is a non-sponsor.

You notice a sharper response in throttle. Doesnt necessarily mean it it jamming horsepower galore in the front of the intake.

Several threads have shown dyno results of 5-7hp increase. I gained a nice improvement in throttle response, but nothing at the track. The throttle response alone makes it worth it, though. I have had it done on each of three LS1 cars I've owned.

for some reason it wont let me post my pics. or im doing it wrong.

anyway the throttle stop mod is very easy and only takes like 5 seconds if the tb is already off.

in stock form the blade points downward alittle bit at WOT. the purpose of this mod is to allow the tb blade to open all the way.its only affective at WOT. u can also kinfe edge the blade but if u screw up it will cause idle issues.

all u do is take a grinder with a fine grit disc and grind the throttle stop a little.a dremel will work too, it will just take a little longer. when using a grinder, u only need to touch it a few times cuz it takes off alot of material. check blade position each time until it points straight out

!!!!!!!!!!BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO TAKE OFF TO MUCH MATERIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if u take too much off, the tb blade could over extend and screw up the TPS!

btw.... can somebody tell me how the hell to post pics!!!!!

i went to "attachments", and then "browse" from computer pics. it uploads pics......... then the screen goes blank!! WTF!!! is that the wrong way?

He has eBay LT's, ORY, stock dual/dual. He ended up with 367rwhp with full bolt-ons minus a EWP.
