Those that have removed AIR, did you remove the big pump?
Not sure what it is, but I figured it was some kind of pump. Its where all the hoses connected to. Its located under the front support on the drivers side behind the headlight. I figured since I removed the AIR tubes that go to the headers, I might as well pull all the hoses that run off of it. The last ones that I had was the one that ran along the drivers side panel/top of wheel well and the one that connected to the lid. Anyhow, I was wondering would I be ok to remove it. I believe I had it removed from my PCM, so I dont think it should throw any codes. I dont think I will ever put the AIR back on, so I removed that big canister thing. Plus, less weight! Am I cool without it? Thanks.

Plug what? I took out everything. The tubes that come off the headers or manifolds if you have them, the rubber tubes coming off them, the little pump or whatever its called that some of the hoses connect to with the little one on top, the one that runs on the passenger side fender well, the one that plugs into the air lid, and then that big pump like thing below the front support behind the headlight. I took it all out and I just want to be certain that I will be ok without it. AIR is removed out of my PCM and I have blockoff plates on the bungs off the headers. So if Im not mistaken, Im good to go unless Im running a risk of taking that pump out.

The only reason I removed the AIR system was to get rid of the pump. It weighs 10+ lbs I believe. I'll weigh it tomorrow it's still sitting in my garage. The nose on an F-Body is heavy in my opinion and anything that can be done to lighten it is good.

The AIR pump is only there to help the exhaust flow through the cats, so if you don't have cats, then you don't need the pump I never thought about removing the fuse that controls the pump. Might be a good idea so I don't have an electrical fire from the end of the wire getting wet or something.

Same as everyone else - removed it because I didn't have cats, wanted the weight savings, and it cleans up the engine bay a bit. Thats if you remove all hoses and pump (although you can't see the pump).

What has everyone done with the plastic connector under the cal on the drivers side. There is I think 3 or 4 tubes connecting to it and a really small tube going to the top of it. Do yall block them off or what.
