Best paper filter?
I found that the supplied seal that came with the lid was garbage anyway. It was just a little strip along the back of it. I'm going to Home Depot Performance to fix mine.
and from the sounds of it probably a fram or whatever is handy for the filter I agree with Soul TKR, i have never had any problems with K&N filters at all. i had a 00' and currently an 02' fbody and used K&N with no problems. But like i said, only reason why i ended up using a fram paper filter is because i was too lazy to clean the K&N.

I'm not really worried though either way, im just gunna drop a paper in because its less maintenence and the more car stuff i have in my dorm room really adds up when i gotta move every year
the k&n is great for ram air cars because they have better reaction from rain or a wash.

Nice my home is relativly near Dallas, I was just confused about what were were saying. I didn't like cleaning and oiling my dirt bike filter all the time so im not keen on them either..
I actually like Texas alot.
Here's an old thread regarding the Amsoil EaA83 air filter...

Not trying to be a spokesman or anything, I just believe in the product.

) All the runs were the same LOL. I did that because I talked to someone in a SRT-4 Caliber who said he picked up .1-.2 and +2mph at the track from pulling his filter. That must be because the turbo though I guess? Didnt' have a paper filter to throw in the test though. I have never heard anyone complain about sludge or heard about a failure with oil filters.

It's just easier and it'll filter better with no messy cleaning & oiling. $4.10 each at Rockauto.com.
