Thumbs up 427/78mm LSX Test

Our runs were made within 1.5 hours and NO tune tweaking was done. This is in our 427 Z06.

-Baseline 510.8RWHP/495.4RWTQ
-After 78mm LSX intake 527.2RWHP/506.0RWTQ.

About 16.5RWHP and 10.6 RWTQ. THe pickup was across the board, not just peak. I will post the graph as soon as I can get it scanned.

I cant wait to see what the 90mm version does.

427" Z06, with Blackwing, stock MAF, stock ported TB which was on the car for the baseline run.

he prolly didn't have a lid since it was a Vette. But I would assume 85mm Maf for the Z06.

So you guys finally stopped dynoing my lil' Formula.

That is a really nice gain.

When are you getting the 90 mm stuff?

Think the FAST intakes will work with a boosted car?

yeah, Finally

We have 90mm intakes, just no 90mm T's. I am told about 2 weeks, but who knows for sure.

I think the intake will work well with boost, but they do not have any way to lock the MAF sensor in and it would blow out in a boosted car. Something could be fabricated to hold it down.

Are these new numbers with the 3" catback you were going to do?

Also, any other TB fit that 5 bolt TB pattern on the FAST intakes?

It still has the stock titanium catback.

I am sure the MTI, BBK or any other stock bolt pattern TB will bolt up just fine. THe intakes have the 3 bolt pattern for the stock intake, and also what appears to be another pattern for the FAST TB.

The A/F was pretty much the same, so I dont think tuning would pick up any more.
