Just Done Slp Header Install On My 02 Ss. This Was My First And It Took Me About 10 Hours With One Person Helping Me. Put the car up on jack stands as high as it would go and Install Went Easier Than I Thought! Everyone Says Slp Is The Hardest To Install?
I Just Removed The Trans Brace For The Passenger Side And Header Slid In. Never Removed Starter Or Coil Packs!!! Anyway Thanks For Everybody's Advice!!!!!!!!!

How's ground clearance? I here a lot of people compaining these days on ground clearance with SLP's headers. I don't know how jet hots are, but I would think SLP would know what they are doing. I'm thinking of getting SLP's headers, so I would like to know!!!

I've scraped the bottom with the SLP's LT's when going up certain driveramps or a rough parking lot with bumps. Not often though. If you plan on lowering the car, you must get something else. If you look at my car from a distance down below, you can see the parts sticking out.

Ditto, clearance is an issue if you plan on lowering your car. I've had my SLP LTs for 2 years - scraped once.
DEPHUDSON: Well done, it us over 12 hours on a lift.

I lowered mine and after 2 weeks I put the stock springs back on since I scraped the headers twice I didn't want to beat them up anymore.

I haven't lowered my car guys, do you think I'll be alright with slp's LT. I would like to see some side pictures of your cars. It would be nice to see the actual ground clearance.

ground clearance is low. if you look at car from a distance you can see them. plenty of clearance as long as you dont lower your car. definately tell a difference in power and sound!!!!!!!!

We usually loosen the K-member to bring it down a little if it's a tight fit. This gives you a little more room to rotate the header into place.
