Pulley problem? or worse?
We didn't have any tools or time to check it out this morning, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas? He says the car is running fine. This car was bought used off of a car lot, so he doesn't know the history of the car.
Could someone have swapped on an f-body pulley? (are they different?) or is this a sign of something terribly wrong.
edge of the belt closest to the cover. 0.78"
(drivers side at crank midplane there is a quarter size circle on the timing chain cover, 0.78 from this flat surface to the belt edge)
Swapped on a new pulley and all is good now.
