Default Input on small lift with decent (112) lsa cam?

Im running a 2002 LS6 cam right now and I have a chance to pick up a 224/224 .535.535 112lsa cam for pretty cheap. Ive done a good bit of reading up on the 224 series but I havent seen many with only a .535 lift. Other than definetly not needing to replace my yellow LS6 springs, I dont see much benefit in the swap. Intake/exhaust is basically stock on my heads now. I had the heads decked at the rebuild and the block honed. Any suggestions on the size cam? Probably not looking much power gain, but with the 112 LSA will it make the "choppy" idle?

You will hear a little bit of a choppy idle but it won't be much. The 224 cam is not a large cam for these motors by any means. I would expect a little power pick up just from moving up in duration some.

Thanks for the info, I was starting to think I had stumped the Techies... To be honest, Im looking for more improvement in the sound than the few ponies Im gonna pick up. Glad you let me know about the "little bit" of choppiness.
