Default Getting more air?

Has anyone tried to redirect air from the openings down by your day time running lights on a TA up to your Cold air intake? Have a screened hose running up and dumping in to your air box or into your heat shield. Seems like the air would be cooler and would get more of it due to the way the air flows around the front of your hood.

I've thought about it, but I don't think it would be worth it. Unless it's just worth it to you to be able to say your car draws air from those inlets under the running lights, but not anything performance wise.

I would think since I have the K&N FIPK and have made a heat shield for it I would gain air flow

I got the slp ram air/cold air part installed on my 01 z28 and it made a big difference, I had all of the other air induction parts upgraded first though. Its a lot more fun to drive, just need to get my exhaust put on, get a stall and the gears installed and ill be good for awhile.

I believe that part fits the ta's too
