Default How many people's ORY hits the floorboard?

I was wondering. If it sets the knock sensor off what happens to the engine? What does it feel like when the y-pipe hits the floor?

Does it hit hard? Mine feels like a steady drum roll. Is that my engine vibrating or my y-pipe hitting?

Alls i can say is to eliminate the obvious... Passenger side would be the heat shield. if you do that, will it not hurt anything but inhance the cars performance by getting rid of .05 onces. LOL. But if the rattling quites well then there ya go. Its not gonna hurt a thing so let me know if that is what it was...

if you don't want to weld for even if it hits after being welded, get a big hose clamp or something similar and put a piece of heater hose around it then clamp it around the y-pipe between it and were it hits the floor board.

Doesn't it set your knock sensor off?

mine bangs but doesn't set the knock sensor off. I would think if your knock sensor is going off that your headers themselves are banging the K-member. Your Y pipe shouldn't hit hard enough to set of the knock sensors. Well I hope not.
