Question Advice on Secondary Air codes

I got 5 secondary air codes on my T/A. I know that the system can be removed so i was wondering if there are any benefits to removing the system or should i just fix it. I now what the purpose of the system is but is it really usefull? Thanks for any Input

It's an emissions control device to light up the cats quicker. Not tied to performance at all, benefits to removal is clean up the engine bay and a small amount of weight reduction.

Ok thanks i guess ill just remove it. I havn't foung a post here on LS1Tech on how to do it but i belive that i saw one on LS1.com thaks again
