And what other mods for the engine can I put so that doesn’t affect the engine in shot term(less than 7 years).

NOT 80series FLOWMASTERS!!! Dont let Peppe from Magic Muffler tell you they are the best settup on the market because thats all he has in stock and is too lazy to order what you really want.

Just my two cents,
I have a Corsa on basically a stock Camaro. Love the look of the exhaust system. Putting it on myself was a breeze. (2.5 hrs start to finish). And I'm happy with 2 out of 3 situations with car.
Idle sound quality: Nice and soft for idling past cops. "What me officer, I wasn't lighting the tires off three blocks over."
Wide Open Throttle: Very nice tone and decibel level. This is why I bought the exhaust. People have said that they can hear the car "a mile away." (I put that in quotes b/c I really don't know how far away from them I was. And I don't know how much they are exhaggerating the story)
Part Throttle driving: This is the only thing that I was disappointed with the Corsa. I had my mother drive the car up the road. (She drives reeeallly slow, used to driving an Acura) As I stood there listening to the car go through gears, I thought it sounded like a boat. (Corsa started making Boat exhaust FYI).
Well two outta three aint bad. And I'm hoping the sound will change when I buy Kooks longtubes with cats. Hopefully this will help you make a better purchase decision. Ohh and one more thing, if I were to do it again I would buy the Hooker system and have more money saved for headers.

I had Corsa on my '95 Z, it was loud at WOT but did sound boat-like at cruise speeds and mild acceleration. I can't say I like the sound on an LS1 as much as an LT1, its higher on the LS1, other exhausts sound better on the LS1, IMO. It's also a little expensive. If you're gonna shell out that kinda money, get GMMG. Best sound, great look, great power. Damn price
Loudmouth is probably the best bang for the buck. Cheap, loud, great power, good look. Like everyone has said, it depends what "loud" you want and what you're gonna do to the car. It's all opinion!

I gained 14 rwhp with a LM exhaust over my stock SS exhaust and gained another 26rwhp with QTP long-tube headers and 3" Y-pipe. This was after LS1 Edit. So I'd say I gained 30rwhp with the exhaust from headers back and 10rwhp from Ls1edit.
I have a loudmouth which I loved when I had a stock car. You will get interior sound but it is a good muscle car sound. Like I said I liked it up until I got the longtubes, ory-pipe and cam, then it was way too loud. I was going to change catbacks but while I was searching for a new one I read alot of people were just adding a Borla XR1 muffler in place of the resonator of the loudmouth. The car sounds great now! The tone is awesome and the best part is it is quiet at idle, throaty at part throttle and loud as hell at wot. Can't beat it for the money. I paid $200 for a used LM, $95 for the mufler and $75 to have it all installed and welded in.

sstolen, how is the interior drone/resonance with the xr1 in there? I have the "dynomouth", and sometimes the drone can get really annonying. But man, it is soooo sweet at WOT!!!
hooker catback + pacesetter LT/ORY = FOOKING LOUD.
Car used to be "Eh, wheres the motor" even thought the hooker was loud at wot.
Add (see sig) bolt ons, and the hookers are insane. Nothing raspy, just get complaints from the lady when im idling the car or starting it. Watch your car dyno sometime, you'll understand pain.
While i'm on the topic, i shoulda got the hooker LT/ORY to go with the catback but i was being a cheapass. It's cost me now. to fix the problem.

i've never heard a gmmg in person but they do sound real nice. although if you dont want to double the national debt by getting a gmmg or corsa you can always go with a spin tech. if i knew how to record the sound and post it i would for the price of the gmmg i got my coated pasesetter's with y-pipe (3in.) and the spintech catback (3in i-pipe and dual s out the muffler are 3in as well). i even have money for a qtec cutout as well
gmmg better sound sweet, and better yeild the best gains, and it hsould give me head for as much as it costs lol.
dude i fyou are looking for the best sound ill give you info on what NOT to get. quietest catbacks at idle are probably magnaflow and hooker, but both sound great at wot, just normal cruising they dont give off as powerful of a sound. Loudmouth isn't named that for ***** and giggles. its loud, inside and out. its awesome, i currently changed out my hooker catback and off road y pipe for a loudmouth and off road ypipe. its sick i luv it. Corsa, GMMG, Borla, they all sound sweet imo. and they are expensive but for good reason. It all depends on what you are looking to spend. and remember there are dreams, and there is reality. don't be set on Nicole Kidman when you can only get Roseanne. with that said, if the funds permit the purcahse of Corsa, Borla or GMMG systems, pick from those. if not, Loudmouths flow great but are very loud. Hooker is cheap as *****, but isn't too loud But loud as **** at wot. only time i've heard magnaflows and liked them was with a set of long tube headers.
go to the multimedia exchange page on this site, do a search for any of these sound clips. shop around, ask people questions figure out what it is you are looking for with their help.
Best of luck dude.
