Some suspension work, yank 3500-4000 stall , 3.42 or 3.73 gear, and a damn good tune .

But honestly , most guys I've seen run mid-11's SI, had some serious weight loss . Front and rear bumper supports, side door bars removed, seat belts,a/c removed, BIG GULP,FTRA, SuperSucker, Chris1313 or some home-made ram-air set-up.

Yes the 10 bolt can be broken with a auto but is more prone to break behind the M6 T56 it cant handle all that snatching around that well

So with the 3800 stall and some sticky tires I've been led to believe my car will not last many passes before the 12 bolt upgrade?

My 2002 went 11.9x @ 114 with a few bolt-ons.

-Pacesetter LTs and Offroad Y pipe
-Yank 3600
-underdrive pulley
-SLP lid
-3.73
-Mickey Thompson drag radials on 17x11 ZR1 wheels

The suspension almost stock with just Eibach Sportline 2" springs and LCA relocation brackets.

If my car had lighter wheels and a tune (tune was stock except for transmission shift points with the stall), I have no doubt it would have gone quicker. Those ZR1 wheels were HEAVY.

Just depends not all of them break. Like my friends 391 stroker t/a 410s on slick with a 3500 stall and he is on a 10bolt but its his 2nd 10 bolt and its a auto. This 10bolt is holding up so far.

Auto is the best thing to have at the track. Hard to run time like that in a 6spd.
