Theres a big write up in electronics on the how to's. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS. It is listed step by step how to do it. Sounds real easy. I'm going to do it the light switch way by cutting the orange wire. I haven't read the post in a while but gonna do it this week.

Pry up the dashboard cover (doesn't take much pressure, just ease under it). Right in the center where your flashing LED for the alarm system is, there is a photo-sensor. Disconnect it, and put any old strip of wire across the pigtail going back into the dash. That'll give it the continuity and the vehicle will think it is bright out all the time. Button the dash back up, and try to remember to turn on your headlights in the evening and at night so you're not one of "those" guys
