Default Which one would you run??

I've got a Patrick G EPS spec cam on the way and I'm stuck between swapping on a Fast 90/90 I have laying around or continue running the LS6. My only reasons for parting with the Fast would be for the $$$. The cam is a 226/230 .598/.600 114LSA. Would the gains with the Fast be worth it? These things are so much money that I'm having a hard time convincing myself the extra power is worth it...HELP ME DECIDE

Me personally would run the fast. I'm sure it would be good for another 15 or so HP over the entire board.

Why not dyno with the ls6 then dyno with the Fast. Then decide but be sure to let us know the results.

I would say use the Fast 90 sell the LS6 and use the cash for more supporting mods. Plus the Fast will help for later on if you wanna increase the performance of your car.

Thought about this...depends on if my tuner/builder would be cool about it...$$$ wise that is. I'm not gonna pay out the pocket to see the differences.

LOL! My luck I would blow the motor up. Not really interested in spraying it. At this point at least

Run the fast and tune it, might as well get everything you can out of it since it won't cost you anything. Then sell the ls6, it'll help pay for the tune.

i'm only running a 224 cam and my fast 90/90 was a huge driving improvement and picked up about 15hp untuned. well worth it over the LS6.

definetly go with the fast intake and consider swapping out the stock injectors for something a little more.

What size injectors and what brand should I go with?

I already have the Fast set up.

you already have the fast, and it's only worth a couple hundred more than the ls6

so for $200-250 you get 15-20rwhp now and room to grow later...that's 3-4 times the gain of an underdrive pulley which is the same price with new belts

no brainer

but yes the Fast 90mm tb sucks...get ready to do some sanding to stop it from hanging once its installed...doesn't hang off the intake but once installed it does, or at least that was my issue, after you stop the hanging its good to go

sell the ls6 and tb for $350 or so and call it good

So where exactly do you sand the TB? This stops it from hanging? I hear the blade sticks too??
