Default gmmg or sweet thunder true duals?

so I have the extra money saved to buy some exhaust this week... but I cant decide which route to go!!

for the same price, I can have either: gmmg catback, OR pacesetter l.t.'s, tsp sweet thunder true duals, o2 extensions, and everything i need to install.. for the same price as just a catback.
Its such a hard decision.. because gmmg is known for its beautiful sound and quality, plus those oval tips look amazing, but I can have my entire exhaust complete and done for good if I go the true dual route, plus the x pipe and sweet thunder combo sounds beyond amazing!

of course if i get the gmmg, i will definatly be adding headers and offroad y, only will be at least a month or so before I can do it. The money isnt a problem... Its just the sound I cant decide between.

does a gmmg sounds better with headers and y over an x and sweetthunders? or vice versa?

please help me decide!!! Its driving me nuts!

Go with the duals definitely. Unless you can find a used GMMG for cheap its not worth the money. Here is my friends Trans Am with 2.5 sweet thunder duals

Wow your cars sound amazing! I'm almost about to order them. Some reasons I was thinking of going gmmg is the fact that its stainless, and I know how much girls don't like riding in such a loud *** car. I know....screw that bitch and what she likes! Right? lol well I like women equally or more than my car, so I gotta take that into consideration too. ALSO the fact that I was really wanting to keep my car having a clean appearance with those expensive and nice looking gmmg tips was something I was wanting too. My SS was just painted, new headlights, boyd coddington wheels, and a really nice gmmg catback I think would complete the look. But my friend has sweet thunders on his camaro and the sound is just PERFECT! I wish gmmg didn't exist so I wouldn't have this problem lol.

ok ok I have lt's ORY and gmmg. i picked it all up for a great price though. gmmg catback only vs lt full exhaust setup is a no brainer from a horsepower standpoint. you will love the longtubes and TD's. and if later down the road you develop a taste for a finer sounding exhaust then just pick up a used gmmg for 300 like i did!!

simple version...

LT'S+full dual exhaust>GMMG CATBACK ONLY

Ive had a few different TD setups and now running the GMMG. I got tired of the fuel/exhaust smell in the cabin. I vote for the GMMG.

Are you kidding?

TD's dumped at the axle, poly motor and trans mount, aged bilsteins and a set of eagle f1 tires. My car doesn't shake it vibrates and the girlfriend won't get out of it!

She doesn't complain about the noise any more.

x2,i have tsp 3" with sweet thunders and its the last exaust that will ever be on my car.i traded it for my old ex custom y with flowmaster merge and hooker catback.it even has better ground clearance then my y pipe did,i still havnt scraped it.
it not loud if you drive normal and i never smell the exaust like stated above.but it sounds better than any other exaust made imo.ive got full poly mounts and it dont vibrate my car so its a no brainer especially if you want more power, you wouldnt over power tds.

dude listen, get the duals with the lts. After you do lts I really dont think the catback would matter anyway. Iv had 2 lts, ory, catback systems on my 98 and 01 and the sound is minimal if any. Im thingking about selling my ory and going duals myself. Get the duals its less weight, less connections for less chance of leaks, most likely it will make a tad more power,it will deff make more power if you plan on bigger mods, its kinda a no brainer. Hmmm I think I just convinced myself to get tsp duals...seriously
