Default Cam in my car an got slower

I just recently installed a lg g5x3 cam with patriot springs and got slower... i know my problem is getting out of the hole because with the stock cam i was pulling a 1.7-1.8 60ft now i cant get any better than a 2.1. So would i benefit more from some gears or bigger stall? I have stock 3.23s with a 3200 circle D stall. I also installed an adjustable tq arm at 0 degrees... idk how much that may affect me either. I know the car makes decent power it went from 328rwhp to 362 rwhp. Im on dragradials and its not spinning just seems kinda gutless out of the hole now. Anyways I went from a 8.0-8.1 @ 87-88mph to a 8.3-8.4@ 90mph.. hell I ran a 8.35 when the car was lid only no stall, headers or cam. Im pretty upset with it

What car?
What engine?
What are the supporting mods?
Who tuned it? Do they have LS1 experience?

^^This^^.... The 3.23's & 3200 stall arent exactly a perfect match for that cam.

I have dragradials, it's a 01 ram air with cam, longtubes, Off road y pipe, ls6 intake, lid, 3200 stall, 3.23 gears, adj tq arm, panhand bar, qa1 shocks. An yes it was tuned by a local speed shop that tunes alot of ls1 cars.. I think it's my stall throwing my times off, it doesn't seem as loose since the cam
swap.. Which I'm thinking is from loss of low end tq

I have a G5x2 and run a PT4000 and 3.73 gears, def need to work on gears/stall with the bigger G5x3.

Although with that said, your MPH seems way low for 362rwhp. Was it possible just a TERRIBLE DA day?

Should be over 100mph easy.

Well it wasn't ideal temps, I'm in Texas it was 90+degrees, idk what the humidty or anything was tho, but idk about trapping 100mph that would be around 6s

he's clearly running 1/8th mile....his trap is fine, his 60ft sucks, needs stall and/or gears

looks like a poor setup that is overcammed for the rest of the car

Yea the cam isn't of choice I just got it very cheap and I figured it would work atleast decent.

well figure you get down to 1.7 60ft, should put you around 7.7 et, but the better stall could also keep you in the power band so maybe some to gain there

but it's all ricer math, best thing is to get the car back to leaving hard and see what that gets you...

with a cam that large that might be wise, talk to a sponsor about the stall and see what they recommend based on your mods

Surprised no one has said this but why is a cam only G5x3 LS1 making 362? Bolt on LS1s are making that. Your tune is way off. Are your injectors maxed out? Address that then the stall/gears

bolt on ls1 autos aren't usually that high, I've seen lots of them in the low 300s unlocked

I'm guessing the stall was unlocked on the pull, for which 360rwhp wouldn't be absurd with no mention of ported tb or an underdrive...he is trapping 90+mph with an auto which sounds pretty close to me, I wouldn't expect a ton more power wise from it.

I ran a 1.76 60' time with bolt on's with a 3000 stall converter,2.73 gears.
After I had my Hotcam [smaller cam then yours ]installed/tuned my 60' went to a 1.89.
Put in 3.42 gears and back to a 1.79.
I am going with a bigger stall to get my car into the powerband quicker.
