stock mufflers..different?
stock mufflers..different? is the stock muffler on a z28 different then a ss? is ss mufflers the dual-dual? and how about a collector edition ws6 muffler? im curious becuase i had a z28 muffler on my old camaro with a ms4 and could barely tell it was cammed and now on my new z28 i have a g5x3 and a collector edition muffler and its loud..thanks everyone
Some SSes got the high performance exhausts and some did not. Mine
has the CME and its muffler is substantially larger, stainless and has a
"hand-built" look to it. I am not sure, but to the eye the exit plumbing
seems larger diameter as well.

The ss's that came with the optional dual/dual exhaust should have it listed on the slp options list on the door. It will sound a bit deeper then stock but is still fairly quiet compared to other aftermarket exhausts and flows fairly well. Supposedly it is the slp powerflo muffler that is used for the dual/dual exhaust.
