Plus the information in it is wrong or inaccurate.
GMPP LS6 heads from 20 years ago were good but definitely not in the same league as TEA and many others at that time. That's coming from someone that still owns and also tested a set of GMPP LS6's and two sets of TEA heads.

Yes I’m new to F body not new to cars and your opinion is not worth as much as you value it. I thought the 500 HP post was very helpful to me and I enjoyed reading it. I could have done without all the senseless bickering back and forth. If this is how you F body “experts” treat new folks I’ll seek my education elsewhere.

Stickies are reference worthy. This thread is not. You might also be new to LS engines in general. The more you learn about them in particular, the more you will see truth in our ensuing comments.

thank you for your response, i am brand new to LS engine platforms but not new to auto mechanics or engines in general. I have a 1966 Pontiac GTO and a 1970 Chevelle SS. i have loved car and worked on cars for over 30 years. i recently purchased a beautiful 2002 Pontiac WS6 6 spd convertible and i have fallen in love with the car and am trying to read all I can about it. as for reference material, that’s what i am after and would love to know where i can find that specifically.

Go on Amazon and search for "LS engine books". You will find a lot of info from books even printed 15 years ago. I found most of my LS library there. Look especially at SA Design/CarTech, HPBooks, and Motorbooks International as the main publishers.

Stock
Cathedral.ports
LS6 intake stock
LS6 intake ported
LS6 Intake.ported with a 90MM snout
Rectangular port
LS3 intake stock
LS3 Ported top stock intake
After Market
FAST Intakes are also an excellent intake for cathedral/rectangular ports heads but air speed has a lot to do with which one you choose.
There are other after market intakes but many are good for different applications. Like FI. I'm an NA guy that is what I prefer and have researched for my application so o don't speak of things that indont research for my applications..So what I speak of is again my opinion and what I like to work with.
Good luck
