Default Kooks y pipe taps floorboard at drivers side bend.

My kooks y pipe just barley taps on the floorboard at the drivers side bend where it goes into 1 pipe. It only does it when you really romp on the throttle but it bugs the hell out of me. What can I do to stop this or at least quiet it down. If I put some high temp silicone on the floor board where it hits will this be enough of a cushion?

i used a poly motor mount on the drivers side of my motor to keep my headers from hitting. basically the same thing. it keeps the motor from torqueing over to a very small amount and thus, will keep you from hitting the floorboard. here is a thread that goes into some detail about them:

i like the motor mount method a little better than just shoving a heater hose or putting some other bandaid in there. kindof ghetto if you ask me.
