Its the best way to go for sure.

lol I've been toying with selling it since I got it. I like the way it sounds but I'm not sure I want to keep it. When I buy the 6LE CME kit I'm going to make the decision because when the CME goes on, whatever cat-back is on there will probably never come back off.

IMHO, there isnt a better sounding catback system out there then the Magna Flow. I went 11's through the full exhaust with it, so it cant be half bad. That was on a pretty mild heads/cam setup.

How do the GMMG and the Magnaflow cat backs compare sound quality, tone, volume etc to the SLP Powerflo cat back? The SLP looks good and is made of stainless as well.

I haven't heard a Powerflow in person but my GMMG sounds better than any Magnaflow I've ever heard. I'm not the typical GMMG nut swinger either; I like the LM1 a little better than anything else. That's my delimma; I got a good deal on my GMMG and it's the only thing that makes my car unique around here but damn I love a LM1.

^^^I have heard pretty much only positive things @ the GMMG, hence my question. All the systems are similarily (at least the stainless steel) priced. It is a good thing having so many to choose from, I just wish I could hear them in person! Personally, I think the GMMG or LM would be too loud for me, so the (advertised, at least) quieter tone of the Powerflo (or Magnaflow) piqued my interest! Thanks for your honest evaluation!

Magnaflow is definitely quiet. The GMMG is fairly loud but not nearly as loud as the LM1 or 2. Good luck with whatever you get buddy.

My Magnaflow isn't exactly quiet. Its waaay less than a GMMG, Hooker, or Duals...but its not that quiet. Maybe its because I have an ORY ?

I got the Magnaflow because it sounds nice, no drone, and the cops dont bother me if i'm not getting on it.

I've had my MagnaFlow exhaust for just about a year now. I went with the dual/dual tips. Installed just fine at a friends house. Mine doesn't rub or any of that other stuff mentioned. Fit and finish was top notch. It has a nice mellow tone and overall just sounds right no matter what RPM I am driving at. I have it with stock manifolds. I use to have the Loudmouth for many years, just wanted something quieter and nicer looking.

Never did care for the standard Magnaflow with the just the two tips....they look like cannons sticking out from the rear of the car. The dual/dual MagnaFlow system cost a bit more, but I have no complaints with it what so ever.
