Would this exhaust setup flow enuf?

Hi guys im in a bind and cant afford true duals right now. I was wondering if i ran my 3" y-pipe into a Flowtech Afterburn muffler would it flow as well as or close to my cutout? im wondering cause i have stg2 ls6 patriot heads/tsp231/237 cam and longtubes and dont wanna choke the motor for a little sound

Will flow plenty fine, but why don't you just get a QTP electric cutout and call it a day?

Actually, I rode in Tally's Dual Cutout Y-pipe, 4" Flowmaster collector / 2 chamber Flowmaster / Dumped setup, and it sounded great.

the reason i dont wanna go with the cutout is cause i want a little exhaust tone of some sort plus i figure i can lose a little weight getting rid of the catback.

Hey man, True duals are so awesome! The sound and flow is incredible...If I were you, Id just wait and save up for the true duals...If thats not an option, then Id just get a cutout...

To be ultra sure, put a cutout right after the y-pipe merge, then run a tiny I pipe to your Flowtech Afterburner, then dump. Open the cutout at the track (or when every singl epony is needed). The Flowtech Afterburner muffler flows very well though, so it should be fine.
