The TB cam is a different size. In 2000 Throttle body cam was increased in size to slow the speed at which the car reaches WOT

it would need to have one of the following... 2 different cable attachment holes, an additional throttle cam or an additional bracket to alter how the cable bracket that mounts on the intake.

Castings are identical between all F-bodies, and early
trucks (pre-DBW). PCV and coolant nipples differ but
the PCV can be pulled & swapped, coolant I cut off
with a hacksaw. Cable cam has a different profile but
identical draw-to-open.

sounds good im gonna go ahead and get it then i hear alot of people blocking off the coolant is that cuz the coolant is heating up the throttle body and making the air hot

Yes, that is correct. The cooler the air the better. Even though some people think it doesn't help any, can't hurt though.

It can hurt if you live up north and ever drive through
freezing fog. I've had a carb ice up like that. One more
good reason to move....
