Rev Xtreme is operating under a new name. I think it's RX Performance. I ordered directly from the guy who makes them off of another forum while he has offering a sale, but Byunspeed sells his new designs too. I was very impressed with the can/kit. Looks and fits great! Sorry no pics at this time though.

Damn these are a little more expensive than I thought they'd be. Any new products out? I've heard alot of these catch cans catch more water than oil, can that be the case? I live in the Chicagoland area so I'm assuming that could be because of the humidity/cold starts.

So I stopped working on my car before I got to this project and now getting back into it.
So the catch can options I am looking into are:
RX performance
Mike Norris
What are the pros and cons when comparing these two?
I don't plan on doing the ls6 pcv upgrade for another year or two, until I change out my intake manifold.
Thanks
Tony

Get a dual or something with a built in PCV valve so no oil will escape. The RX has that....they sell check valve / breather for the oil cap as well to eliminate the hose to the TB for extra protection. Probably don't need it for just a bolt on car though. I wouldn't bother on an LS6 conversion with a good CC. I've heard good things about the mighty mouse can as well.

You would rather support a member than a vendor that pays to keep this site running?
I know what you are saying, but dang.
And the one you are looking at likely has the dual check valves and they are expensive for a reason.
Most catch cans have no check valve at all.
http://www.coloradospeed.com/rx-performance-oil-catch-can-w-single-check-valve-gm-ls-p-13737.html
That one is only $189 and still has the single check valve in it.
Just because the dual cv can is the one you want doesnt mean there are not others you can get that will work for you. Like I said we also have the norris catch cans and they are a tad cheaper.
Or you can build your own from an air/water separator from lowes like alot of cheap builds do.
Many options.

I am not sure as I have not compared the MN to the RX catch cans, but the norris ones that I have personally used and modified for special apps didnt have a check valve.

not trying to start a war here.
just want to find out what will work best for my appilcation.
i do not have any FI, nor any plans to ever go that route. i do plan on doing heads/cam/intake at a later date (years). my mods are as described in my sig.
i definitely like the looks of the norris can, especially with the new black AN fittings, and the price is good at $130. i'm not opposed to paying $190 for the RX if the check valve and larger volume will provide better performance with keeping oil out of my intake!
thanks
