LS3 Manifold on 317 heads

Anyone tried this before? I heard that this combination might cause vacuum leaks cause the LS3 is meant for rectangular port heads. I was thinking if it they don't seal right try to build a thin plate adapter at the machine shop to seal the intake to the heads better.

Good luck. Just put a LS6 or LS2 intake on and save all the hassle

I just don't want to ignore a good deal on a new LS3 intake with fuel rails and 42lb injectors for under $300 shipped. That's why I want to to know if it would work.

Y dont you just buy the manifold and sell the 317s and pick up a set of l92 heads or ls3 heads? It will make things easier cuz i dont think you be able to make some type of an adapter to fit between the heads and manifold.
