Default fel pro intake gaskets?

wat is the two foam pieces that i got wit my kit i got 8 rubber gaskets and 2 foam pieces were do they go

when i ordered the intake gaskets, i didnt get rubber rings, i got an actual gasket.

I made my own from left over window AC insulation.

my foam did not want to stick, i had to talk sweet and glue them in.

You either got the big expensive ones for trucks (one piece plastic) or for alum intakes (cardboard with rubber ring injected on). The truck gaskets wont fit period and the paper style arent designed for plastic intakes and risk major vacuum leaks. Take it back and exchange it for the ring style (cheapest type actually)

It wasent the plastic truck gaskets, it was the paper style ones with rubber rings. That was over a year ago and it worked just fine.

They were like 11 bucks at autozone. No big deal.
