I'de rather have the Greddy. If it was cheap ricer garbage, hundreds of Fbody and Ybody owners wouldnt say otherwise, like they've been doing.

Here is how I mounted my Greddy catch can:

http://www.tatommy.com/ws6%20pages/engine.htm

The amount of condensation this thing picks up is amazing!

Do you mean what it "Catches?"

I will try to take a picture next time I clean it out. It could only be discribed as a diarria like substance...

Does the lid come off so we can see the make up of the greddy on the inside. I don't want to see the oil because I see it in mine catch can. I just want to see how the greddy is made on the inside.

The top and bottom come off. There is also a drain screw at the bottom you can remove to empty it, but it rarely works since the oil is thick...

It is empty inside. Gravity does all the work.

I finally got a greddy, I remember when these were first going to get produced and just couldnt wait. I will TRY to get a picture of the Greddy tonight while I am working on the car. I can tell you that the construction of the greddy is VERY sturdy. And yes they do come with cheap lines. That is easily fixed with fuel line though.

LOL!! You must be getting kickbacks from the manufacturer of the can you are pushing. I've never seen someone so dead set on trying to push an item unless they are making money on it.

Truth is, the Greddy can is a perfectly high quality piece. I have not seen your can in person, but I'll give it the benifit of the doubt and say that it's probably just as well built of a unit as the Greddy. But for you to be bashing the Greddy can without ever even being up close to one (because if you were, you'd know that it's not thin or cheap), is just wrong, IMO. That damages your credibility.

Point is, there is no need to bash any products that are perfectly good items just to push your own prefered products. That's a disservice to everyone.

its ok for you to show people what you use on your car but you cannot post links to try and sell the product if the company is not a sponsor on this board.

As far as the greddy can goes, I am only saying that the cheap hose is not a complete setup. You still have not show any pictures of the inside of the can. Why, I don't know. I have only seen one picture a long time ago and if I am correct, the greddy has no baffles in side to help catch the oil. And yes I am not pleased with their setup that they sell. It should come with everything. That is what I stated that these guys did.

I may sound little frustrated, but it is only because I have gone through some time on trying to fix this problem. I installed the valley tray. This didn't work. I was going to buy the greddy, but was not sold on it. When I heard about these cans and saw the kit, I was sold. It doesn't matter to me what you or anybody else gets, but a no baffled system doesn't please me and I believe that the greddy has no baffles. Please show a picture if I am wrong. I have asked for a picture so I don't sound stupid.

i use one of these catch cans and blackhawk is right, it is complete, well thought out, and priced very well. I was amazed to see how much crappy oil i was catching from going back into my motor. Thumbs up to this design

why dont you ask the company if they want to become a sponsor on this board? sounds like it might be a good competive product. Then they get on here, introduce their product, people will buy and post about how great it is and then more people will buy....just a idea

What do I tell them? How much? Who do they contact? But I don't think they want to do that for sure. They only made these to help fix a problem with the cars. I don't know how much they want to go crazy selling them. This is just a car guy that came up with a simple setup that works. Let me know.

Please guys, keep questions to emails.

I don't have a picture but I can tell you there's nothing inside the Greddy catch can.

Al
BTW, If the cost isn't too bad it might be worth becoming a sponsor here.

There’s really nothing to take any pics of on the inside of the Greddy. It’s just a regular container, nothing to look at on the inside except 4 walls. I’m not really convinced that baffles would make any difference in doing it’s job. I guess they couldn’t hurt though.

Seriously, there’s nothing wrong with talking well about an item you like and introducing it to the rest of us. Hell, actually I think your catch can looks great as well and would probably consider buying one if I ever wanted to replace my Greddy, especially if the manufacturer becomes a board sponsor. My only issue was, that you came on here and started bashing the Greddy can (making false claims about it’s quality) that works great for most everyone that’s used it. I just don’t think you need to bash one item to promote another, IMO.

I do agree though, that the hoses supplied with the Greddy are not very good, but it really wouldn’t have mattered to me what hose it came with, because I needed about 6 feet of line each way to mount it where I wanted and I doubt any of the catch cans come with 12 feet of line anyway. Either way I’d have to supply my own line in my application.

If you could, please PM me the price on this can. I may be interested in using it for another car.
