I shift right a 6600 RPM and I noticed a little ignition break up at the higher RPM's. I went to MSD super conducter wires and it cleared it up. They don't make any horsepower at all. They just carry the spark a lot better a higher R's. I you just have stock internals then stay with the stockers. I do reccomend going to MSD's if you put a cam in that extends the RPM range above 6000. These ignition systems on these LS sereis motors are some of the most effecient systems available. They don't need anything for stock to mildly or even moderatelly modified engines.

Yup this came in handy when I switched to 1 7/8" Kooks. I can't tell you how many times I've had my MSD wires off and still haven't had an issue with them
