Default SLP lid and MAF a restriction?

Currently i am running the standard run of the mill SLP airlid and stock GM maf.

I am in the process of changing my setup and it will consist of the following:

Trick Flow 215 cyl heads, a cam in the high 230's = low 240's and a FAST 90/90.

SHould i upgrade to the larger FTP lid and larger MAF? Speed density is also an option and eliminate the MAF completly. I dont want any choke points in my intake path.

thanks!

Lid, not a restriction. Screened MAF, yes. If you're ready to
throw that kind of money and presumably tuning at it, go
look for an open MAF of appropriate diameter. Preferably one
with a known cal curve to start from, preferably one near
the stocker. I don't think you'll max it out NA. Though big
cam may drive it slightly nuts at the low end.
