Stock 2.5" Exhaust restrictions

Stock 2.5" Exhaust restrictions right now I have a 1 3/8" LT's, O/R Y pipe and a stock catback with a magnaflow muffler and a 2.5" DMH electric cutout. My question is, will i see any noticible gains if i switch to a 3" catback with a 3" cutout? I'm looking down the road as well and dont want to be restricting a H/C/I package making 450+whp. Thoughts?
