Default go to a 100mm mass air or speed denc tune?

On my last dyno my 85mm mass air was being pushed to the limit. I was showing a 4kpa loss from my lid(f.t 85mm) to my intake(fast 102). I was thinking of trying a 100mm massair and lid. I was also told i could just throw in a 4'' pipe and run it in speed den. The problem is the tuner wants me to leave my car there for him to do a speed den tune when my boy said in ohio it only took them 25min to get his car running and making dyno pulls in speed den. What one would be better to drive around town and gain the most power for going down the track? Thanks, mike c.

I run around on a SD tune, but when the weather changes be prepared to change the tune. Mass Air is a set it and forget it almost kinda thing.

Go with the TSP 100maf and a FT 104mm lid. I had a SD tune once and it was a bitch keepiing the car to run good. One day it will be running fine and the next it could be running like dogshit.

Lots of cars didnt have MAF years back, and they dont need a tune adjustment for different weather.......

That is very true. But, SD is more difficult to have tuned for varying weather conditions by a tuner/shop. SD is easier for the tuner/car owner to set up with the ECT Multiplier tables. As the weather changes the owner/tuner can dial in the ECT multiplier table.

I don't want to mess with it. Just start and drive. The 100mm mass may be the way to go for me. My 85 was showing a restriction,so the 100 should do the trick.
