i have a 2002 z28, is it worth replacing the stock ls6 intake with a 90 mm ls2 setup?

no,the ls6 intake flows better.consider a bbk or weiand or holly intake ,and get a bbk TB to match..or find a used fast intake.

As already reported, the LS6 flows better than the LS2 intake. In your case, I would sell the LS6 and use the proceeds to buy a FAST intake, particularly if you plan on heads and a cam eventually.

This is what I would do. IMO its not worth spending money on an intake unless it will be a FAST. LS6s put up just as good numbers as the rest of them that are out there for street cars.

^ agree , I wouldn't waste my money on any of the intakes bbk, weiand, etc unless its a fast,if your gonna upgrade the intake its only worth it for a fast, and its not worth it imho unless you have a heads and cam.

not to hijack, but im understanding that a weiand, bbk, typhoon are all better than the ls6 but a FAST is better than both, is that right ?
