Default Lsxr vs lsxrt

i know ive read a little about it on here somewhere but a search is finding nothing. im lucky enough to run either one, and have a few guys interested in my ported fast 90mm setup. im just looking to go to a stock 102 setup with a 90mm throttle body. what are the differences?

Since you have enough room to run the LSX-RT, you would ideally go with that. You'll end up with more power across the board - the only downside is that it looks a little goofy since it is so tall, but the increase in performance would probably more than offset that.

They did, LSXRT +50hp over the stock one

LSXRT makes more power than LSXR. I've tested it myself. The runners are straight in LSXRT and it has a lot more plenum volume

The truck specific design has the taller runners for low end torque. Its more of a hassle to run the LSXR on a truck motor because you need to relocate accessories. The RTs go for cheap with little miles or just dyno runs on them

it would actually be more of a pain for me to swap BACK to the truck style. im already running a ported fast 90mm on my truck.

So the LSX-RT is better than the LSX-R. Is that for trucks only or can you put it on cars too? I got the outlaw hood on my TA and it has plenty of room.
