They can be worth it.. I put one on my car more for the fact that I got one at a deal I couldn't pass up on...

If you get a good one, they do sometimes offer better vibration damping which could help your bearings last a bit longer, theoretically that is.

The throttle response seemed to be a little snappier but it likely could have just been the placebo effect.

I felt a difference in throttle response. I honestly didn't feel a big difference when we did my LT/LS6 install but I did feel the snap of the u/d pulley.

Any power gains by doing this? Before/after dyno results?

under driving the alternator? Hmmm... Do your headlights go dim at night when idling at a red light?

i researched it before i bought my March 25% and couldn't find any real evidence that it made more power.....alot of folks said they ran the same times at the track before/after UD installation.....i can't really give any performance feedback on mine because i did the pulley, LS6 intake, headers, and true duals all at the same time.....only thing i can say is now my belt squeaks & chirps until the car warms up and it sucks, i kind of wish i had the stocker and my $225 back

i have seen dyno test's of 7-10 hp. that wont make a diff at the track but if you add 10hp here and there it will make a differance. just don't expect to feel a huge differance when you put it on.

...and slow turn signals. Don't know if it was really worth it as this was my first UD pulley.

7-10 hp WILL make a diff at the track. General rule of thumb is every 10rwhp=~.1 and 1mph in the 1/4. It held true for me as I added power over the years.

Somebody actually went to the dyno with only a UD mod ??? (sorry I couldn't resist that ;-)

The ASP UD pulley's are nice. Felt a little faster throttle response and picked up almost 2 tenths at the track with bolt-ons. I put one on my 6.0 truck and didnt notice any difference at all but then again its a 6800# truck LOL
