Default What to spend the tax refund on? NEED HELP

I'm gonna spend 2k of my tax money on some mods for my stock, daily driven 98 firebird with a t-56 and my question is this... Should I spend it on the STS turbo kit the guy has in the classifieds for 2000 or should I get some long tubes and ORY, ls6 intake, port my TB, HP Tuners, and a clutch? Or am I looking at it the wrong way? I do drive it every day and want to occasionally hit the track on a weekend here and there.

I would do all the supporting mods first.

Don't do the STS lol. Last year I bought a spec 3, Pacesetter coated LT's, ory, and an LS6 intake. Im doing my tune this year. Go with the bolt-ons this year and move on from there next year.

Yeah the bolt ons are the best for the money. If you go to the top of newbie tech you will find a sticky about what the smartest way to mod your car will be and the most efficient. Good for getting ya started

If you are looking for headers and an ls6 intake with a ported throttle body p.m me. I have a set of pacesetters that were just recoated and look better than new and an ls6 intake and ported throttle body. I just ordered a fast intake for my build. I will make a really good deal for someone.

Cam and exhaust. And depending on how you budget, a LS6 intake.

the sts kit will cost you wayyyyyyyyyy more then 2k. You have to factor in a tube, clutch, and other parts.

I would do headers with an off road y pipe and electric cutout. Slp lid and ls6 intake with a tune.

I would also look into camming the car.
