Default SSRA now available without scoop.

The SSRA is now available without the scoop. The top half of the SSRA kit is very similar to FTRA, SLP, and the Whisper Ram Air kits. The differences are that it's extends all the way down to the hood latch support, it's made of ABS plastic which doesn't heat soak like metal, angles forward more than the others to allow more air to pass through to the radiator, seals the best, dimensionally bigger to flow more air, and is an American company unlike the FTRA.

The pics are good, but the bottom pic should show the airbox cutout like mine.

Nope, however two sponsors on this board are. They will be selling the SSRA sans scoop for this price. Those sponsors are Speed Inc and LM Performance.

**Then please have them post there contact info and pricing. Not yours.

Fred, have you made it to Atco yet?[/QUOTE]

I haven't made it yet. This Sunday 15-feb I will be testing it though at Atco. I'm hoping to see 112 mph. I also home ported my TB. Hey, how well you know these sponsors?? I need a good deal on some headers, JH LT's.

Fred, I know them pretty well, however I don't think I can get you a deal.
Both are great companies to work with. I've bought parts from both. I highly recommend either LM Performance or Speed Inc. Fred how did you like the way the SSRA sealed?

Another good thing about the SSRA is the ease of installation. If you've already done the FRA mod it takes about 5 minutes to install. There is no drilling involved like the FTRA or SLP.

Donate52, I notified Speed Inc last night. I'll be letting LM know Monday. None of them have the top piece only yet. I'll be sending these out to the sponsors as soon as I get more SSRA's from the my manufacturer.

I checked both sites and did not see the ssra without the scoop. Where and when can I buy this, and what will the cost be?

How will the gains with this system compare with the Regular SSRA and the FTRA.

Sorry for the stupid question.

The SSRA with the top box will be a just like the FTRA. It's probably a little better due to it's bigger and seals better.

SSRA, made in

Oh, so SSRA "without" scoop is better than original SSRA "with" scoop?
