Default whats the biggest/noticable difference between ls1 and ls6 intake?

If I were to do this before Lt's and ory..what would be the biggest difference you would feel/notice the most? not much...or wow..? any difference with exhaust tone?

OR.... is the ls1 intake just fine for Lt's, ory, for right now...
I'm going to do both....but only one or the other right now.....money is getting tight after all the **** I got this year.
I don't want a fast or anything...just alittle upgrade for a mean dd...

If I recall correctly, an article showing a dyno comparison between the LS1/LS6 on a stock LS1 motor was 5-7 RWHP gain with the LS6. Most of the gains were seen above 4,500 RPM.

Many say it's worth it, but for me it's not enough of a gain to mess with the EGR delete, coolant line modification and potential problems such as vacuum leaks and OPSU breakage. If I ever decide to get LT's, I may change my mind though.

I have an article in my book comparing them and it was 9 hp peak 2 peak but the midrange showed as much as 15 and very respectable tq gains the ls6 intake will help with the headers and make large gains in the end . Drop et's dramtically

I see you have been thinking alot about your car lately
When I put an ls6 intake on my 98 car I noticed a sotp increase in the upper rpms. Made the car pull better and its definatly gotta be more than a 5-7rwh increase. Im thinking more like 15rwh but cant prove the exact number. Its definatly worth it so yea, get one

I would just wait like everyone says until after your LT's and ORY. Definitely keep it in the plans though, in the long run it will yield better gains. And please say thanks instead of tks it's killing me lol.
